Quirina and Anthony wanted something a bit different for their engagement session than the typical beach, and mentioned loving trees, and greens, and all things nature. Knowing that I scouted the beautiful Mt. Baldy in the San Gabriel Mountains and found a few easy to hike to spots that were just PERFECT for their adventurous vibe!

I was so excited to shoot in a new environment and really work the creative side to capture exactly what Quirina and Anthony were looking for. We found a cute spot of the tall trees Quirina said she loved - just at the visitor center as well! Then drove down the road a bit to a larger open spot to get the gorgeous mountains in the backdrop. It was hard not finding areas we loved honestly, the whole town was so beautiful and quiet.

If you're more adventurous and hoping for a similar look to your engagement shoot, I highly recommend Mt. Baldy!! It's greenery and tall trees is so unexpected when you think of Southern California, but I think that's one of it's best parts and pulls. Some other locations with a similar aesthetic would be Irvine Regional Park, Malibu Creek State Park, and Griffith Park to name a few!
