A beautiful and more casual location than my usual picks, the park below the Colorado Street Bridge should not be overlooked! A lesson I learned though because of this shoot was to check on the game schedule for the Rose Bowl as it's basically just down the street from this location. We arrived a bit later than expected along with thousands of game-goers, but luckily the park itself was dead so we had the whole area to ourselves!
It was a lot of fun getting to know Brittany and Hunter during our time together. This was their first professional photoshoot, so while they started out a bit nervous and unsure I made to sure to make them feel comfortable and we quickly found a good rhythm and they had a blast! I love being able to help my couples feel good during our time together, as I get it can be intimidating at first if you've never done anything like this before. Over the years though I've learned some tips and tricks to help people get out of the initial nerves.
